About Vakkerbo
Vakkerbo was founded from a wish to create interiors with more personality and rooms that engage the senses, where unexpected details spark curiosity and bring joy and energy to everyday life. To me, family is the natural centre of life. A home marked by love, presence and calm forms the foundation for the work, the travels and the life in between.
In 2012 I founded OYOY Living Design, where over the past 14 years I have worked with design, product development and collections, and built extensive experience with supplier partnerships, interiors, styling, trade fairs and photo shoots. In 2026 I chose to begin a new chapter with Vakkerbo, where the focus will be on quality, fine craftsmanship, presence and surroundings that draw you in and enrich life.
Colour, form, material and art have always been an essential part of my work. Whether it concerns design, interiors or art, the particular energy arises when each element finds its natural place and the whole falls harmoniously together. My passion for vintage springs from a fascination with good craftsmanship and the stories that live on in beautiful materials, refined colours and distinctive details. In the meeting between the simple and the characterful, interiors emerge with depth and authenticity. New and old bring out each other's qualities and create rooms that feel alive, personal, particular and timeless.
Horses have been part of my life since I was a child. Their strength, elegance and physical presence are a lasting source of inspiration that quietly finds its way into my work through product development, materials, forms and details.

A meaning that naturally captures Vakkerbo's vision of creating atmospheric and personal homes with warmth, character and presence.
